A good IP lawyer is hard to find. Actually, any IP, or intellectual property, lawyer is hard to find, according to local law firms that are bulking up IP practices.
Allen Barteld, attorney search coordinator for The Associates, a Portland legal staffing and recruiting firm, fields at least one call daily from a law firm desperately seeking IP talent. "No other area of law is even close," Barteld said. "IP is definitely it."
